Bill McCulloch earned seven varsity letters during his years as a Cavalier (four in lacrosse and three in football). On the lacrosse field Bill was a four-year starting attackmen and during these years Woodson won three district championships, two Northern Region championships, and two State championships. Bill received numerous honors, including being named All American (2001), All Met (2001), All Region (2000 & 2001), All Liberty District (2000 & 2001) and 2001 Liberty District Player of the Year. Upon graduation Bill was the Cavalier’s All-Time leading goal scorer (he remains #2 today) and ranked third all-time in points. A defensive back and quarterback during his football career, Bill was selected captain his senior year and that year led the Cavaliers to District Co-Champions. Bill attended Lynchburg College where he played lacrosse and was a member of the 2003 & 2005 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Champions, a four-time All-ODAC Conference selection and a three-time All-American. Bill returned to Woodson in 2008 as an Assistant Lacrosse Coach and continues in that position today.
