1994-1998

Steve Marino earned four varsity golf letters during his years at Woodson. As a senior, Steve was champion of the Virginia AAA State, Northern Region and Concord District tournaments and was ranked 23rd nationally, winning 2 national junior tournaments. During his sophomore year, Steve won the District tournament and finished 4th in the Virginia AAA State tournament. While at Woodson, Steve was named American Junior Golf Association Honorable Mention All-American as well as selected All-Met four times (first team 1996 & 1998) and All-Region and All-District multiple years. Steve attended the University of Virginia, where he played in every tournament during his career from 1999 to 2002 and was named All-Atlantic Coast Conference as a senior. In 1999 Steve won the Virginia Amateur championship. Steve turned professional in 2002 and after several years qualified for the PGA Tour, on which he has finished in the Top-10 in 23 tournaments and won more than $10 million.
